New expanded canopy for LB1

ETFE canopy materials have been ordered for the first true LifeBubble - based in Maleny Queensland. The canopy will be expanded from the existing 9 m² to cover about 250 m². A small working bee of local LifeBubble enthusiasts will assist in constructing this new self-cleaning clear ETFE canopy.

The new enclosed space includes a small rice paddy that will also produce water chestnuts. There will now be space for dwarf tropical fruit trees, bananas and papaya, all of which struggle in the frosty winters here in Maleny. Some photos of progress will be posted soon.
